Who here has dabbled in latte art? Feel like you're an artist? How long have you been working with latte art, and what drew you into it?

I have been practicing on and off for about a year. Watching the competition at coffee fest perked my interest. I bought a video from Bellisimo which helped but I am far from an artist. My team has done a great job and the customers seem to appreciate it here.

Do you have pictures or videos of your own work or your shops?

Pick up a disposable camera, when they do some that they think is worthy let them take pictures! When its full drop it off at a target, have them put it direct to CD (saves money) and upload it, print them out when worthy and put it up at the shop or in a coffee book.

What is Latte Art?

I have never heard of it before..

Do you make it yourself, or do you usually buy it?

Latte art is made by pouring silky smooth frothed milk into a cup with espresso, adding milk to espresso lets you create nice designs in the cup, most common are rossetas, that are a kind of leaf, hearts and tulips, you can find a lot of these beautiful designs in youtube, just type in Latte Art, but be careful is addictive!

But to get the most out of it, you should try tasting a perfectly poured rossetta in your own cup of latte.

Very Happy
